Inspired by the protagonist of Ousmane Sembène’s seminal 1966 film, Black Girl, Diouana has a complex earthy and woody foundation of sandalwood, patchouli, Amyris, and dark musk. That base comes alive when mixed with the woodier scents of teak and cedar and lighter notes of rosemary, lavender, and eucalyptus.
